I'm Cheryl, I'm a Northerner living in the South, who no longer sounds like a Northerner because I've lived here so long. During the day I'm an interpreter, which is great, I love it, but once the working day is done I do like to grab a pen and paper (yep, I'm old fashioned) and let my mind roam.
So this is my quaint little blog. It is really just a space for my random thoughts - normally in the form of poems but occasionally I may throw a cheeky observational piece in there, just to keep things fun :-)
My writing rarely reflects how I am actually feeling, but is usually just whatever comes to my head. I am very grateful for and appreciate any comments, constructive or otherwise as I'm a pretty novice writer.
