In this world full of fake, false and fairy tales,
It is hard to find something real.
Close your eyes hold your breath,
Don’t tell them how you feel.
Find your second face –
You’re going to need it here,
Say goodbye to honesty
Hold on to the fear!
Lace your tongue with fallacies,
Lie and pretence
And remember when all else fails,
Try sitting on the fence.
No one need know
What’s going on behind the mask,
Just say what they want to hear
-remember that’s your real task.
Keep it short and sweet
And don’t forget to smile!
You give them an inch
And they’ll call it a mile.
But most importantly remember,
The key to our success –
When something truly goes wrong,
Make sure someone else,
Clears up your mess!
